Diesel Advance 200 is a Next Generation Fuel. Similar fuels have been widely available in the USA and Europe for many years now. The Diesel Advance Product has been blended exclusively for Central State Fuels. The typical property of Advance contains Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel, up to 20% natural Soy Bio-Diesel and special additives to give better stability than normal diesel or bio-diesel. Recent research data indicates that Diesel Advance 200 outperforms mineral diesel fuel significantly in terms of emissions reductions, including the reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx), a criteria EPA pollutant that contributes to the formation of ozone. 
 

Does Diesel Advance 200 offer similar power to mineral diesel?

One of the major advantages of Diesel Advance 200 is the fact that it can be used in existing engines and fuel injection equipment with little impact on operating performance. Diesel Advance 200 has a higher cetane number than mineral diesel, which makes it ignite faster, with less engine noise. In-field testing showed less fuel consumption, similar horsepower and torque as conventional diesel fuel.

Is Diesel Advance 200 better for my engine?

Diesel Advance 200 provides more lubricity than mineral diesel. Lubricity - or the ability to reduce friction - reduces wear and tear on the engine, and ultimately the cost of maintaining diesel fleets. Mandated reduction of sulfur in mineral diesel has reduced the lubricity of mineral diesel and this fuel now require additional additives to match the lubricity of high sulphur diesel. Diesel Advance 200 has naturally occurring lubricity properties which provide better protection.

Can I use Diesel Advance 200 in cold weather?

Diesel Advance 200 operates down to - 6 degrees Centigrade. Cold weather can cloud and even gel any diesel fuel, including biodiesel. Users of Diesel Advance 200 will experience an increase of the cold flow properties (cold filter plugging point, cloud point, pour point) of approximately 1 to 2° Centigrade.
